Running Man.
I miss this show terribly.
It is just not the same anymore when watching it alone over here in my tiny island.
The first time I watched it, was with friends and over a pot luck dinner.
Thereafter, RunningMan was always my excuse or cure to stressed-out study sessions in the middle of the night.
I’d totter over to Jerah’s place carrying snacks and drinks whilst she cooks up stuff.
I’d have the rest of her flat mates together to watch and guffaw at the screen.
We were like dirt poor then, but heck we sure were happy.
I still remember our uni was giving out free apples but Ashley, being the kiasu (afraid to lose out) Singaporean he is, grabbed an entire carton for Jerah.
Jerah had much leftover stuff from her enthusiastic baking days, and together with apples, made apple crumble.
My favourite baked good in newy, besides brownies.
On top of that, get a $2.50 AUD Woolies home brand tub of vanilla ice cream, and we were good to go.

:]

MONKEY BEACH.
MY MOST LOVED CLUB IN SEOUL. HAHAHA
Located at Apgujeong, it is a good 15 minutes walk.
Tucked between alleys, this club is actually a Thai Club. Yet, they don’t play any Thai music at all!
That’s ok, I like the music they are currently playing anyway! Top 40s English songs and some Korean pop music in the mix.

These are two of my FAVOURITE bar tenders in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD. HAHAHA.Seriously! The one of the left looks like one of my childhood friends. The first time I saw him I was like WTH! XX’s LONG LOST ELDER BROTHER.

The drinks are real cheap too! A shot for 3000 KRW, a bottle of vodka for 50000 KRW?
I googled for an address and here it is:

Take exit 2 from Agujeong station and walk towards GALLERIA. You can ask people along the way. ;)

EVERLAND ! !

Got to be one of the highlights of my entire trip!

This has to be one destination that I was anticipating SO MUCH.

We had a bit of trouble finding our way to the place. The website is a little bit outdated. I’d suggest you e-mail or call them to check before you proceed.

Basically, CHECK THE WEBSITE

It’ll tell you the current promotions ( We took the promotion package) and don’t trust the directions, just e-mail or call them to double check.

Oh, and if you’re making your way to Everland for the famous T-express roller coaster? Don’t bother going to Everland in winter.

IT WAS CLOSED T^T.

Apparently, they will close it in certain temperatures and weather. DANG IT.

Well, Everland did provide us alot of fun! We had the snow sledding hill and others!

This ride however, made Kenneth and I fall out (Military term for basically, not feeling well and hence we gotta take a back seat).

This drummer was really amusing. Everland had a lot of characters just strolling around weaving out and about crowds to create the storybook atmosphere of The Nutcracker.

This drummer could be seen edging closer towards the multitudes of heaters( The brown tower on his right) around Everland. Heehee!

Heehee, spot Jayne with her pink boots. That’s the mammoth T-express in the background.

Taking the lift towards another part of Everland.

Namsan tower!
Uni Mates and I went up there on the first day of 2012!
It was really near our hostel and a 15 min walk uphill took us to the cable car that transported us towards Seoul’s N Tower.
The famous place where people locked locks declaring their eternal love to each other.

I forgot who took this! Oh well.
We didn’t get to go up the tower itself because we were more interested in the numerous locks, the night view and just camwhoring away.

Jayne’s camera

It was SERIOUSLY cold. I started to freak out because even in my pockets where my hands are shielded from the slicing wind, my hands were starting to go numb.
Jayne had to give me her pocket warmer (XOXO BABE)
But even then my hands were still freezing up! I had to duck indoors!
Anyhow, Namsan is really a beautiful place to visit!
Highly recommended!

Though the center was on high ground, it still featured a picturesque pond with several swans and ducks.
